A 24-year-old woman was found on a railway track in unconscious state on Tuesday in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. He has been admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai in critical condition.
A case of rape from a woman in a local train in Mumbai has come to light. According to the police, the woman was first abused by a local train and then thrown from the moving train. On Tuesday (December 22) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, a 24-year-old woman was found on a railway track in an unconscious state. After regaining consciousness two days later, a medical test was conducted on Thursday based on his statement. The rape was confirmed in this.
Police said – On the basis of injury to the woman, we had earlier registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC. Section 376 (rape) has been added to the rape on Thursday. A case has been registered against an unknown person in this case. The accused are being searched with the help of CCTV cameras installed in and around railway stations.
The victim was a resident of Thane
Vashi police said that the victim is from Titwala in Thane district. She works in homes in Powai, Mumbai and visits her home only once a week. She went home last Sunday. The next day she returned to work again. However, he did not contact his family until two days after returning to work. On Tuesday, she was found unconscious on the side of the tracks.
Motorman gave information about the incident
The motorman of the local train, after seeing the woman lying unconscious on the side of the track, first informed the station master and then the GRP. Railway staff had earlier admitted him to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) Hospital in Vashi. After first aid, he was sent to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. According to the police, the woman is currently not in a speaking position due to being badly injured.
