West Bengal BJP MP Soumitra Khan and his wife Sujatha Mandal’s relationship has legally moved towards divorce. Sujata joined the Trinamool Congress on Monday. After this, Soumitra has sent him a legal notice for divorce.

Sujatha Mandal said that when politics enters your personal life, it becomes bad for relationships. Soumitra is in the company of bad people of BJP. These people are trying to incite them against me. The party that ended the triple divorce is asking Soumitra to divorce me today.

Election fight came home

Annoyed by Sujatha joining TMC, Soumitra said on Monday that I am ending all relations with Sujatha. I request them not to use the Khan surname with their names. I appeal to the media not to wear Khan with Sujata’s name.

Assembly elections are due in West Bengal next year. Here the BJP is putting all its strength to overthrow the Mamata government. Recently, many TMC MLAs, rebel leaders and an MP joined the BJP during Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Bengal. This was considered as a major advantage in the state for the party. In response, TMC has Sujatha Mandal in its court. At this point, her relationship with her husband deteriorated and till the divorce came.

Soumitra himself was first in TMC

Soumitra Khan is an MP from Vishnupur Lok Sabha seat. In 2014, he contested and won on behalf of TMC. In 2019, he contested and won on behalf of the BJP. Currently, he is also the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.

Soumitra started politics in the Congress. Then he won the election of MLA. In 2013, he joined TMC and became an MP. After coming to BJP in 2019, he was accused of taking money from people for jobs. A case was registered against him. The Kolkata High Court had barred her from entering the constituency. Despite this he won by over 78,000 votes.

Soumitra ends 43-year rule of communists in Vishnupur

The Communist Party had been winning continuously since 1971 in Vishnupur. Soumitra broke the chain in 2014 while contesting on behalf of TMC. Won second time on BJP ticket in 2019.
