Due to farmer agitation in Punjab, Railways has canceled 14 Pooja Special trains started from October 20 from Saturday to November 4. While 18 trains have been diverted from Ambala. The Lucknow and Chandigarh Express, Varanasi-Bhatinda Express, Varanasi-Mata Shri Vaishno Devi Express, Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Express, Gorakhpur-Jammuutvi Express, Howrah-Jammuutvi Express, and Bhagalpur Jammuutvi Express will be canceled till November 4. Some trains will be canceled till November 5 due to being Weekly. On the other hand, 18 trains have been diverted from Ambala. These include Ganga Sutlej Express, Jayanagar-Amritsar Express, Varanasi-Jammuutavi Express, New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Express, Amritsar-Kolkata Durgiana Express, Amritsar-Dibrugarh Express, Patna-Jammuutavi Archana Superfast Express, and Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Guwahati Express in both directions. Railways started operating Pooja special trains from October 20. The people going home on Dussehra felt relieved after the trains started running, but now the routine trains will have to be hit.
