In Bahroli village, a lawyer shot his parents with gun and killed his parents and escaped. This incident spread sensation in the surrounding area. Four teams have been formed for the arrest of the accused on the instructions of the DIG and SSP who reached the spot. In the FIR lodged by the younger brother of the accused, the dispute regarding 25 bighas of land in the family has been cited as the reason for the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, Durvesh Gangwar, who lived in a rented house in the teacher colony of Mirganj, reached the village on Tuesday morning by bike. Guns hung on both his shoulders. Durvesh went straight to his father, 75-year-old Lalta Prasad’s house. Shortly after, there was a sound of bullets firing from inside, then people ran towards Lalta Prasad’s house, but in the meantime Durvesh escaped leaving his bike standing outside the house. After the arrival of Lalta Prasad’s younger son Umesh, who was living in another house, people came inside and found the blood-dead body of Lalta Prasad covered in his room. Lalta Prasad’s wife Mohan Dei’s body was lying in the toilet.

Inspector Vijay Kumar and CO Ramanand Rai, who reached Umesh’s information, sent both the bodies to the post-mortem. SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan and DIG Rajesh Pandey, after reaching the spot, asked Durgesh to make four teams of Mirganj Police and Crime Branch to arrest him soon. Evidence was also collected from the spot with the help of the forensic team and the dog squad.

According to younger son Umesh, Lalta Prasad, retired teacher of Basic School, had 85 bighas of land. He gave 30–30 bigha land to both sons. The remaining 25 bighas were in his name. Durvesh feared that he would distribute this land to Umesh or his four married sisters. That is why he murdered his parents.

It is quite an audacious incident. Police is searching for the accused, he will be arrested soon.
