Graduate Admission Process Complete, 29 Thousand Seats Still Vacant

1,44,786 students applied, the decision on vacant seats later

Bareilly. The third phase of the admission process for graduate classes in colleges affiliated with the University of Ruhelkhand was completed on Tuesday. On the last day, a total of 1532 students applied online for admission. Despite this, 29 thousand seats remain vacant. There have been 144786 admissions so far. The university administration has not taken any decision regarding vacant seats. Empty seats now seem too low to enter.
The admission process of BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.P.Ed for the current academic session in 540 colleges operating in nine districts of Bareilly and Moradabad Division affiliated to Ruhelkhand University was completed on 20 October. So far, 144786 students have taken online admission. Around 1.44 lakh candidates had registered in the first phase. In the second phase, the number of registrants reached 1.69 lakh. By the third phase, the number of candidates registering reached 173844, yet 29,058 seats remained vacant. University’s media in-charge Dr. Amit Kumar Singh said that due to the new session starting from November 1, the date of the admission process is not expected to be extended anymore.
