Home Minister Amit Shah is on a tour of the Northeast. On Sunday morning, he offered prayers at Shaktipeeth Kamakhya Temple.

Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday laid the foundation stone of IIT and Medical College in Manipur. While addressing the public meeting here, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given an inner permit without saying to the people here. There is no one like him to understand the public’s heart. Shah said that earlier there was flood, now development is taking place.

Manipur did not stop in BJP government
He said that earlier people used to face problems of livelihood. Days used to be closed due to which people were in trouble. Manipur has not closed since our government was formed. In 2014, PM Modi said that both hands should be strong and North-East is the other hand.

The state is on the path of development
Shah said that earlier the law and order of Manipur used to be discussed, but after the formation of BJP government, Manipur has started on the path of development. We told you to give us your service opportunities with absolute majority. We are trying our best to live up to your belief. In the last three years, we have changed the face of Manipur.

North-East resides in Modi ji’s heart: Shah
He said that the entire North East resides in Modi ji’s heart. The Prime Minister has visited Manipur more than 40 times. He gave the state an irrigation scheme. We will provide hospitals and medical colleges to the state. The children here will become doctors. Our government is fully committed to the development of eastern India.

On reaching Imphal, Shah was welcomed by the state’s Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

Lotus will blossom in 2022 election too
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that this is the first time in the history of India that no organization has invoked any kind of buy-in or demonstration during the visit of the country’s Home Minister. Our state is very happy with the BJP government with a population of about 30 lakhs. The decision of the Government of India to give the inner line project to the state will prove to be important in the development of Manipur. With this, the BJP will also expand in the 2022 election.

Visited Kamakhya temple
Earlier, Shah reached Assam (Guwahati) on Saturday. He saw Maa Kamakhya Devi on Sunday morning. After worshiping the mother, he left for Manipur. Sunday is the second day of Shah’s Northeast tour.
