Two Accused Of Saffron Coloring On Mausoleums Arrested In Agra

Agra: The two youths who dyed saffron to three mausoleums have been arrested and sent to jail. The accused have been identified as Shubham Pandit and Balakrishna. The Agra Police has identified the accused with the help of CCTV footage. Both have been booked for insulting any religion and for intentionally damaging a religious place by damaging a religious site.

In fact, late on Monday, a part of the tomb in front of Agra College was painted saffron. Similarly, the tomb of the power station and the tomb of the Tajganj area were also saffron-colored. Cases were registered in this regard at Lohamondi, Rakabganj, and Tajganj police stations. According to the police, Shubham Pandit, a resident of Bagda village in Tajganj, and Balakrishnan, a resident of Barauli Ahir, had done the crime. Both were arrested on Wednesday based on CCTV footage by Lohmandi police.

CO Lohmandi Ritesh Kumar Singh says that the accused Shubham is a student of BSC Biotech. In the police interrogation, he said that it was only after watching the video of Namaz in the temple of Mathura that he conspired to paint the tomb.
