If you want to find out, then the product lab has to be tested, which takes two to three weeks, but the research team of Bhopal-based Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (ISER) has created a software that can be used in two In three minutes, it will tell how the reaction of anything on the skin will be.

The name of this software is Skinbug. The research of this software, made after nearly a year and a half of work, was completed in May last year and it has been published in the International Research Journal ‘i-Science’ on December 10 last month. It will be published in the January 22 issue of i-Science’s print journal. I-Science has stated that it is the world’s first software to make predictions related to microbes. Kshitij Aggarwal and Parikshit Thodam were also involved in this research.

Knowledge of 900 bacteria and more than 1 million possible reactions in the software

The head of the research team and Professor Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma said that whenever a cream, oil, lotion is applied on the skin, the micro-bacteria present there react with it. We have been studying the microbes of the intestines and scalp for years. When it took months to investigate each molecule, the idea came up that why not digitize all kinds of bacteria found on human body.

After a year and a half of hard work, we developed the Skinbug software, which gives more than 90% correct results. This software has information on 900 types of bacteria, which tells about 10 lakh 94 thousand possible reactions. The software also tells how effective the product will be on 19 different parts of the body.

All the bacteria information in the software is recorded in binary number. When a product’s formula or molecular combination is added to it, using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the prediction of the software product tells you how it will affect the body.
