A shocking news has come during the peasant movement. 65-year-old Sant Baba Ram Singh has committed suicide in support of farmers protesting against agricultural laws. He was a resident of Singhara village of Karnal. Gurudwara Sahib of Singhara was the Granthi of Nanaksar. The number of his followers is being reported in millions.

Sant Ram Singh committed suicide by shooting and left a suicide note in Gurmukhi. In it, he wrote that it is a voice against oppression. Manjinder Singh Sirsa, president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, has expressed grief over suicide.

Sant Ram Singh committed suicide on the Kondli border. People brought him to the Pork Hospital in Panipat. Here doctors declared him dead. His body has been taken to Karnal. Ram Singh reached Kondli Border by car along with fellow farmers on Wednesday.

His partner Gurmeet said that Ram Singh told everyone that you go to the stage and do ardas. Gurmeet said- I went to the stage to perform Ardas and the driver of the car went to drink tea. During this time, he shot himself.
