Police raided the Dragon Fly Club near Mumbai Airport at around 2.30 pm on Monday night. Cases have been registered under sections 188, 269 and 34 of IPC against 27 celebrities and 7 staff, including cricketer Suresh Raina. Many celebrities were present at the club including Hrithik Roshan’s X Wife Suzanne and Singer Guru Randhawa. Celebrities were also released after arrest.
It is being told that 19 people from the party came from Delhi. Others were from Punjab and South Mumbai. Most of them had drunk. Maharashtra still has lockdown rules. It prohibits any party or public event after 11 pm. Police sources said a big singer escaped from the rear gate during the raid. The name of the king is coming in this.

Joint police commissioner Vishwas Nagre Patil said that the government had taken a decision in view of Corona that the night party, pub, bar and hotels would be closed after the scheduled time. After this, the party got information about the club and a team led by DCP Rajiv Jain was sent here for the Red and 34 people were arrested.
At present, no statement has been made by the club. A total of 7, 27 celebrities of the pub staff, 34 were booked. The Mumbai police suspect that many more people also managed to escape. CCTV footage is being investigated for this. Notice will be sent to the people. Under Section 188 of the IPC, there can be a jail term of one month and a fine of Rs 10,000.
What is Section 188, under which a case has been filed against many including Raina
Action is taken against those who violate the rules of lockdown under Section 188 of IPC. Section 3 of the Epidemic Act of 1897 mentions that if someone violates the provisions, breaks the directives / rules of the government / law, then section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Can be punished under.
This section can be imposed against you even if you violate the instructions given by a government employee in this regard. If you are aware of those instructions issued by the government, yet you are violating them, then you can be taken legal action under section 188.
