The company said on Monday that the ski-jump test of the F / A-18 Super Hornet Fighter Jet was successful. This fighter jet is fit for the Indian Navy. This jet can be operated from India’s aircraft carrier. According to Ankur Kanglekar, Chief of Boeing-Defense’s India Fighters Sales, Indian Embassy officials were present in Washington DC during the test.

He said that the test was done at a naval air station in America (Patuxent River, Maryland). This aircraft also works well in terms of the Short Takeoff Butt Arrested Recovery (STOBAR) system of the Indian Navy.

US aircraft carrier warships use catapult technology, so Boeing has now tested its Super Hornet through the Indian Navy’s ski-jump technique.
