The cold on the new year can once again haunt people. Due to continuous snowfall in the hill states, meteorologists have warned of cold wave in the plains from 30 and 31 December. Scientists predict that from December 29, the call for a bitter cold will begin. Cloud warning has been issued in Chandigarh in the next 48 hours, while in Bhopal, mercury has reached normal after nine days.
The mercury fell in many districts, the freezing cold
Chhattisgarh once again recorded a decrease in night temperatures, after which cold conditions were created in Durg and Balrampur. Apart from this, many districts are experiencing a cold winter due to falling temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold has decreased due to the northeast direction of the wind. However, when the wind direction becomes completely northern, the cold will increase further.
Mercury reached normal after nine days in Bhopal
Cold farewells are expected to occur in Madhya Pradesh with cold wave. According to the information received from meteorologists, on 30 and 31 December, there could be a freezing cold. This is due to snowfall in the mountainous regions. From December 29, the cold can start rising. The mercury reached normal after nine days in the capital Bhopal. The minimum temperature on Friday was 10.4 degrees.

Night temperature in Chandigarh dropped by 2 degrees, day rising
After heavy snowfall in November, Chandigarh has been getting good sunshine for the last 10 days. This has increased the day temperature. Although the cold winds are still running during the day. But the nights are cold. According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, there may be partial cloud cover between the next 24 to 48 hours. Fog may occur in the morning and evening.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 22.1 degrees on Friday, which was one degree below normal. On Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.4 degrees. Which was two degrees below normal. Humidity in the air was 91 percent. Due to strong sunshine for the last few days, the cold has been relieved.
