South’s superstar Rajinikanth (70) has decided not to enter electoral politics due to ill health. On Tuesday, he issued a letter written in Tamil and said that he would serve people from outside without going to the polls.

Rajni apologizes to the fans
Rajni said that he does not want to show valor by announcing his entry into politics despite ill health. They also do not want to upset their supporters. Also said – Fans will be disappointed with this decision, but forgive me.

Doctors recommend Rajni to rest
Rajinikanth was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad on December 25 after experiencing fluctuations in blood pressure and fatigue. He was discharged two days later. The doctors advised Rajni to stay away from bed rest, at least physical activities and corona for a week.

Was to announce new party on 31 December
On 3 December, Rajinikanth had said that he would form a new party and also contest the 2021 assembly elections. A new party will be announced on 31 December.

Had talked about an alliance with Kamal Haasan a year ago
Rajinikanth had talked about tying up with actor Kamal Haasan last year. Rajinikanth had then said that in the event of a coalition with Kamal Haasan, he would definitely come to each other in view of the interests of the people of the state.
