Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Ayurveda Institution in Gujarat and Rajasthan on the occasion of Ayurveda Day. He inaugurated the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) in Jamnagar, Gujarat and the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) in Jaipur through video conferencing.

Modi said on the occasion, “Ayurveda is India’s heritage. Today Ayurveda is included in the national policy. What Indian will not be happy that our traditional knowledge is now enriching other countries as well.”

“India-US relations, whether Indo-German relations, India’s Ayurveda relations are steadily growing. Right now the head of WHO and my friend has made a big announcement that they have been in India to promote research on traditional medicines. I have decided to start a global center. I sincerely thank Dr. Grabius. This center of traditional medicine will become a center of global wellness. Friends, everything is getting integrated with the changing times. Today we are the traditional treasure of health. Are making a big foundation. “

Through these two institutes, the country hopes that we will play the role of global leadership in promoting Ayurveda in the 21st century. Since 2016, Ayurveda Day is being celebrated every year on Dhanvantari Jayanti. The government says that this year Ayurveda Day will focus on the important role of Ayurveda in controlling the corona.
