The government has called an all-party meeting on Corona for the second time. This will be the first important meeting after Modi’s discussions with vaccine companies.
Along with Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan are also expected to attend the meeting on 4 December. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal will also be involved. This meeting has been convened at a time when there is talk of merging the cold session of Parliament with the budget session due to the increasing cases of Corona in Delhi.
Modi told vaccine companies – explain to people in easy terms
Modi is also keeping a constant watch on the development of Corona as well as vaccine development. He held discussions with the teams of Genoa Biopharma, Biological E and Dr. Reddy through video conferencing on Monday. The Prime Minister advised them to do extra effort to convince the common people about things like vaccine effect in easy words. Earlier on Saturday, he visited the Serum Institute in Pune, Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad and Bharat Biotech Facility in Hyderabad.
1.37 lakh deaths due to corona in the country
So far, 94.32 lakh people have been infected with Corona in the country, 88.46 lakh people have been cured, while 1.37 lakh patients have died. Former Rajasthan Education Minister and BJP MLA from Rajsamand Kiran Maheshwari (59) died late on Sunday night due to Corona. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. She was also elected as Lok Sabha MP from Udaipur in 2004.
