Today, Dev Deepawali was celebrated in Benares. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kashi on this special occasion. This was the first time that Modi would be in Kashi on the full moon. In the evening, he started Dev Diwali by lighting a lamp. After this, 84 Ghats of Benaras shone with the light of lamps. A total of 1.5 million lamps were lit together.
In the light of full moon moon, the shower Ganges became golden due to the light of the lamps. Rajghat was the brightest. The laser show also continued here.
