The major impact of grid failure was on local trains. When the trains stopped, people started going by the tracks.

Due to grid failure, the entire Mumbai region i.e. Mumbai, Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Panvel has lost light in many areas. According to the information, power supply stopped at 10.05 am on Monday morning. The reason for this is said to be Tata’s lack of electricity supply. A spokesperson of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has confirmed that the power supply in the city has been disrupted due to grid faults.
