- Elections were held in Alwar, Baran, Karauli, Dausa, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Dholpur, Sriganganagar, Jodhpur, Kota, Sawaimadhopur, Sirohi districts
- The results of the four-phase election for Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members in 21 districts of the state have already come.
Elections were held on December 11 for 50 municipal bodies in 12 districts in Rajasthan. In the results declared so far, the Congress won 613, BJP 530, BSP 7, CPI 2, CPI 2, Independents 570 and Ralopa 1. In the last four phases, where the BJP won, the Congress has waved in this phase. Independents at number two and BJP at number three.
In the fifth phase, votes were cast for a total of 1775 wards of 43 municipalities and 7 municipal councils in the districts of Alwar, Baran, Karauli, Dausa, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Dhaulpur, Sriganganagar, Jodhpur, Kota, Sawaimadhopur and Sirohi. 7249 candidates have contested these elections.
In the first four phases, the BJP had a heavy upper hand, while this time the Congress is in a strong position. Independents hold the key to power in many places. Congress has emerged strong in Dholpur, Sriganganagar, Jaipur. In Karauli and Bharatpur, independents have won.

District wise status –
Jaipur: In the results released till midday, out of 10 municipalities of Jaipur district, the board of Congress is being formed in more than 6 municipalities including Chaumun, Bagru, Shahpura, Virat Nagar. But independents will dominate in these.
Bharatpur: Independents overtook political parties in Bharatpur’s civic elections. Out of 255 wards, 45 seats were elected from BJP, Congress 22, BSP one and independent councilors in 187 seats. Independents have won the remaining bodies except Kaman.
Congress can form boards with independents in Kumher and Deeg. Because, former minister Vishvendra Singh has become active here. Apart from this, Dr. Subhash Garg, the minister has also become active to make his acquaintance Rajiv Agarwal the president in Kumher.
BJP badly defeated in MP’s home town of Bayana, winning only 3 out of 35 seats.
The BJP has suffered a severe defeat in the home town of MP Ranjita Koli, Bayana. Here only his favorite tickets were distributed. BJP has got only 3 seats out of 35 in Bayana. By the way, the Congress is in a slightly better position here. Congress has won from 7 wards. The control is of independents. Independents won 25 seats. Therefore, former Municipal Chairman Vinod Batta may have an important role in making the board here.
Dholpur: Independents in Dholpur city council also spoiled the mathematics of Congress and BJP. Here, 22-22 councilors of Congress and BJP won the elections, 15 independents and one BSP won the seat. The Board of Congress is set to be formed in the Rajkheda municipality. In 20 wards, Congress has hoisted the flag. The BJP is reduced to 11 wards. At the same time, independent candidates are won in BSP and 3 in one ward. Congress won 26, BJP 3 and Independents 16 in Bari municipality.
Sawai madhopur: In the city council, Congress has won 27, BJP 22, Independents 10 and CPI one seat. Independents won 60 seats in Gangapur City Municipality here, BJP on 27, Congress on 21. There was a tie between BJP and independents in ward number 48. It was decided by lottery in which Independent Vikas Gupta won.
Shri Ganga Nagar: Elections were held in 8 municipalities in which Congress won 4 and BJP in 2. The Congress, which made it president in two municipalities in the last election, got an absolute majority this time in four municipalities, Kesari Singhpur, Srikaranpur, Padampur and Gajsinghpura. At the same time, the BJP, which formed boards in 6 municipalities in the last election, got a clear majority in Anupgarh and Sadulshahar. BJP is close to majority in Raisinghnagar.
Karauli: In the city council elections, Congress got 15 seats, BJP 15 and independents 25 seats. Here the independents play the role of King Maker. In Hindaun Municipal Council elections, BJP won 18 of the 60 seats, Congress 13, BSP one and independents 28 seats. In the Todabhim Municipality election, BJP won 5 out of 25 seats, Congress 14 and Independents 6 seats.
Jodhpur: The results of the Bilada and Pipad municipality elections in Jodhpur district have started coming. In Bilara, the 35-member Municipal Board has won a majority by winning 18 seats in the BJP. At the same time, Congress is moving towards securing majority by securing 15 seats out of the 25 results declared in Pipad. BJP has retained its board in Bilara. On the other hand, after 17 years in Pipad, there is a possibility of becoming a Congress board.
quota: A thorn collision was observed in Etawah and Ramganjmandi in the district. In Etawah, BJP has won 16 out of 35 seats defeating Congress. Congress could get only 10 seats. Has won 9 independents elections. Here, the Congress has won a big victory in Ramganjmandi municipality. The Congress has won 20 of the 40 seats, while the BJP has 13 seats. 7 independents have won.
Results so far
In the four phase elections for Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members in 21 districts of the state, BJP won 353 out of 636 members, Congress 252, RLP 10, CPIM 2 and 18 independents.
The result of Booth No. 62 of Panchayat Samiti Dug’s Gram Panchayat Kumathia of Zone-2 of Zilla Parishad of Jhalawar could not be released. There was a re-election on December 10 at a booth in this constituency.
Now voting for the post of president on 20th
Notice will be issued on 14 December for the Speaker. Nomination papers can be filed by 3 pm on 15 December. The nomination papers will be examined on December 16. Names can be withdrawn by 3 pm on 17 December. Election marks will be allotted on 17 December. Voting for the Speaker will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on 20 December. The counting will take place immediately after voting. Voting for the vice president will take place on December 21.
