  • Preparing to bring train ticket reservation system to pre-Kovid-19 position

Indian Railways has decided to implement the pre-Kovid system for ticket booking from 10 October. Under this, tickets can be booked even five minutes before the train leaves the station. Railways had stopped regular trains in view of the epidemic and at this time only special trains are being run. Railways are gradually adopting the pre-Kovid-19 system. In this episode, a second reservation chart will be made half an hour before the departure from October 10.

Everything you need to know about these changes:

  1. The second reservation chart will be prepared half an hour before the scheduled departure from the station. This used to happen before Kovid-19. But when Indian Railways started running special trains, the second chart was started two hours before the departure.
  2. Train tickets can only be booked until the second chart is created. From October 10, these charts can be made from 5 minutes to 30 minutes before the schedule departure of the train. That is, tickets can now be booked till the second chart is made.

  6. Things have changed for the last few months. The center has also started the unlocking process. Gradually, all the workings are returning to the pre-March condition.
  7. The railway had canceled all trains from March 25 in view of the lockdown. Workers special trains and then 230 special trains were run from May 1. From September 12, 80 special trains were run and then 40 (20 pair) clone trains were also started.
