Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Zydus Cadila Biotech plant in Ahmedabad on Saturday. He visited the plant. Talked about the progress of the Corona vaccine being made here. He also met the team of scientists and doctors and praised his work. Modi said that the government stands shoulder to shoulder with him.
The company’s CEO and Managing Director, Sharvil Patel, told Dainik Bhaskar that the PM’s visit was encouraging. He had complete knowledge about the vaccine. They also knew what would be needed in the coming times. They also have its roadmap ready.
Modi inquired about vaccine trial
The second phase of the clinical trial of ZyCoV-D vaccine of Zydus Cadila has been completed. The company is scheduled to launch its third phase in December. CEO and MD Patel said that the Prime Minister took a detailed report on the trial of the corona vaccine. He also discussed the company’s planning regarding the vaccine.
Assured help in making vaccine
Prime Minister Modi said that the central government is ready to help in every way in making the vaccine. According to Sherville Patel, the most special thing about the meeting was that the PM himself offered help. He explained how the government can help the company in further processes. His vision will soon leave the country out of the grip of the epidemic.
PM’s presence was encouraging
Company chairman Pankaj Patel said about PM Modi’s visit on Saturday that his presence has encouraged the whole team. The company has 25 thousand employees. We are contributing for a self-reliant India. With this vision, the company has created the vaccine Zykov-D of Corona. Now the third phase of its trial is about to begin.
