Police are still stationed at the entry points of the victim’s village, Bulgarhi. CCTV and metal detectors have been installed at the victim’s house.

  • On September 14, there was an alleged gang rape incident, on September 19, the MP’s daughter wrote a letter to the DGP
  • Police had earlier registered a case of attempt to murder, later the sections were increased

Another revelation has now come to light in the alleged gang rape of a Dalit girl in Hathras. Manju Diler, daughter of BJP MP Rajveer Diler, who was also a member of the National Safai Karamcharis Commission, wrote a letter to DGP HC Awasthi after the Hathras incident.

Manju had said that 5 people were involved in the rape and attempted murder of the victim, but the police have registered an FIR against only one. Manju demanded suspension of the SHO and strict action against the culprits.

What else is written in the letter?
Manju also wrote in a September 19 letter that Sandeep, Ravi, Ramu and Lavkush of the upper caste caste tried to kill the victim after gang rape. The accused fled after hearing the voice of the victim’s mother. The family of the accused is already a victim of the victim’s family.

Police had increased the currents 2 times
The police had earlier registered the name of only one accused, later the names of 3 more were added. Earlier, a case was registered under Section 307, ie, attempt to murder and SC-ST Act. But, on September 19, the section of coercion increased to 354. Then on September 22, after taking the statement of the victim, Section 376D (gangrape) was increased.

Claim of accused side – MP and his daughter implicate innocents
The accused side says that the MP and his daughter do politics of casteism. The victim was also of his caste, so he implicated the innocent. The MP also went to meet someone in the jail where the accused are locked.

MP’s answer – Do not do politics of casteism
The MP said, “I and my daughter do not do caste politics. Manju was given all the information by the family of the victim. Only then did she write a letter to the police.”
