State President Satish Poonia at Gajshyam Tiwari got party membership in the BJP office in Jaipur.

Ghanshyam Tiwari, who was a minister in the Vasundhara government of Rajasthan, again joined the BJP on Sunday. At 12 noon in the BJP office, State President Satish Poonia got him party membership. Tiwari is considered to be a strong opponent of Vasundhara Raje. He left the BJP and joined the Congress before the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.

Tiwari left the BJP to form the Bharat Vahini Party due to opposition from Vasundhara Raje. He also contested from Sanganer assembly seat in 2018 from the same party. However, he could not save his bail. December 19 is his birthday. In such a situation, the return to the BJP is being seen as a gift for him.

Change of voice as soon as you join BJP

Talking to the media after joining BJP, Tiwari said, ‘I never took primary membership of Congress. BJP has always been in my mind. I have been associated with the Sangh since the beginning. ‘ At the same time, on the question related to Vasundhara’s protest, he said that whatever issues were there at the time, they have been settled. Tiwari also said that he has no intention of contesting the election yet. They want to work for the party.

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, in March 2019, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had a road show in Jaipur. On the same day, Tiwari joined Congress in a public meeting held at Ramlila Maidan in Jaipur. He was joined by two more cabinet ministers Surendra Goyal and Janardan Gehlot.

Ghanshyam Tiwari’s political journey
Tiwari has been included in the BJP’s veteran leaders. He has held many important positions in the party. He has been a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly winning six times. Tiwari became the first MLA from Sikar in 1980. After this, he remained an MLA from Sikar from 1985 to 1989. Became MLA from Chaumu from 1993 to 1998. He was also the Minister of Energy in the Bhairon Singh Shekhawat government from July 1998 to November 1998. From December 2003 to 2007, Vasundhara Raje was the education minister in the government.
