Farmers have been agitating on the borders of Delhi since 26 November in protest against agricultural laws. The photo is of a border border.

The farmers took the decision on Saturday on the letter of invitation from the government. United Kisan Morcha has decided that talks will be resumed. The farmers have given time for a meeting with the government at 11 am on December 29, but have kept 4 conditions.

Conditions of farmers
1. Possibilities of withdrawal of all three agricultural laws should be discussed.
2. The Legal Guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) was on the negotiating agenda.
3. Provisions of punishment under the Commission for the Air Quality Management Ordinance should not apply to farmers. Ordinance should be amended and notified.
4. The issue of change in the Electricity Amendment Bill should also be included in the negotiating agenda.

Farmer leader claims – getting threats to kill
Indian Farmers Union spokesman Rakesh Tikait says the call came from Bihar. The caller threatened to kill him. The call recording has been sent to the police. Now the police will decide what to do.

Farmers said – stop defaming the government movement
In the letter written by the farmers to the government, it has been said that the government should not spread false information about previous meetings. The entire machinery of the government has launched a campaign to discredit the peasant movement, it should be stopped immediately.

Tractors march out on 30 December
Darshan Pal, president of the Revolutionary Farmers Union, said that tolls in Punjab and Haryana would remain permanently open. On 30 December, tractors will march out of the Singhu border. We appeal to the people of the entire country including Delhi to come here and celebrate the new year with us.

RLP left NDA
National Democratic Party (RLP) Convenor and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has announced his separation from the NDA in protest against the agricultural bills. They have said that they have not clung to the alliance with fevicol, we have kept the promise made to the farmers. In support of the farmers, Beniwal will go to Delhi with thousands of Rajasthan farmers and RLP workers.

Former BJP MP left the party
Punjab BJP leader and former MP Harinder Singh Khalsa has resigned from BJP in support of farmers. He said that the farmers are upset, but the government and BJP leaders remain insensitive.
