The agitated farmers have intensified the agitation today demanding the repeal of the agricultural law. According to the announcement, farmers have made toll free in Punjab and Haryana. Farmers were also scheduled to jam the Delhi-Jaipur highway today, but this has been postponed to tomorrow. Social activist Yogendra Yadav gave this information on social media in the demonstration of farmers.

Haryana: Farmers made toll plazas free at many places. Farmers took over the toll plaza on Hisar Highway, about 15 km from Ambala. Toll workers are not allowed to collect tolls from commuters. The Bastara toll plaza on NH-44, also freed the Payont toll plaza on Karnal-Jind highway.

Punjab: Farmers have also made toll plazas free in Punjab. However, farmers are already agitating there. That’s why many toll plazas are not being charged since October 1. There are 25 tolls on the National Highway in Punjab. The government is losing Rs 3 crore every day due to the closure of tolls.

Know how much toll comes from across the country in a day? How much does the government earn?

Delhi: Police have increased security at the border and toll plaza in view of the demonstration of farmers. Police say that there is no protest on the Delhi-Gurgaon border. The traffic movement is also normal.

Uttar Pradesh: The situation is normal at the toll plaza of Agra. According to Agra ASP (West) Satyajit Gupta, there is no information about the closure of any of the 5 major toll plazas.

3500 policemen deployed on 5 tolls of Delhi-Haryana
In view of the warning of farmers to be toll free, the Faridabad Police has deployed 3500 policemen at 5 toll plazas coming in Delhi-Haryana roads. The protesters will be closely monitored at Badarpur, Gurugram-Faridabad, Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal, Pali Crusher Zone and Dhauj Toll Plaza. Police say they respect everyone, but strict action will be taken if law and order deteriorates.

Akali Dal said- Prime Minister listen to farmers
Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, who has split from the NDA on the issue of farmers, has said that the central government is trying to suppress the voice of farmers instead of listening to them. Those who have made laws do not want them, so why is the Center persecuting them? I appeal to the Prime Minister to listen to the farmers.

‘If anti-nationals have entered the movement, intelligence will catch them’
The Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the Intelligence should capture them, on the allegations of anti-country people entering the peasant movement. If people of ban organizations are roaming among us then they should be put in jail. If we do not find any such, we will throw it out.
