On Tuesday, 20 thousand 529 new cases of Corona arrived, 26 thousand 572 patients were cured and 285 died. In this way 6339 active cases (patients undergoing treatment) were reduced. Now 2.60 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. In two days, 15 thousand 350 active cases have been reduced. If the situation remains the same, then in the next two days more than 10 thousand active cases can be reduced, then this figure will come down to 2.50 lakh. On the other hand, the total figure of Corona Testing has been crossed 17 crores across the country.

A total of 1.02 crore cases have been reported so far. Of these, 98.33 lakh patients have been cured, 1.48 lakh infected have lost their lives. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.

Corona updates

  • The number of patients infected with the most dangerous corona strain found in Britain in the country has increased to 20. It is not yet clear who the 13 new patients are from. Of the seven patients received yesterday, 1-1 are from UP, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while three are from Karnataka.
  • Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan presented the Weekly Report on Corona on Tuesday. They reported that the highest number of 63% of men were infected with corona. Women constitute 37% of the total infected.
  • In terms of age, 8% of the patients are under 17 years of age. 13% of 18 to 25 year olds, 39% of 26 to 44 year olds, 26% of 45 to 60 year olds and 14% of people over 60 years of age have been infected. 70% of men and 30% of women who lost their lives from Corona.
  • Rajesh Bhushan said that before the news of Corona’s new strain came out, five thousand genome sequences have been done across the country. Now this number is being increased.
  • If symptoms are found in all international travelers visiting India from December 9 to December 22 and found to be infected, their samples will be sent to the ICMR lab for genome sequencing.
  • If symptoms are not found in such passengers, then they will be checked by RT-PCR test on the fifth and tenth day. Till now there were only such guidelines regarding travelers coming from Britain.
  • Existing vaccines may affect the new strains of Corona found in Britain and South Africa. Principal Scientific Adviser to the Central Government, Prof. Vijay Raghavan said that no proof has been found so far.
  • The grandfather of Maharashtra’s agriculture minister, Dadaji, has been found to be straw corona positive. He gave this information on social media on Tuesday.
  • There will be a ban on the entry of people from any middle of Dakshina Kannada in Karnataka from midnight of December 31 to January 2.
  • All schools in Mumbai will remain closed till January 15. BMC has issued an order for this.
  • New Chandigarh Hotels and Restaurants, Hall or Ground, will be able to gather half the people at capacity. Not more than 200 people will gather in one place. The administration has issued its orders.

State of 5 states
1. Delhi
On Tuesday, 703 people were found corona infected. 850 people recovered and 28 died. So far, 6.24 lakh cases of infection have been reported. Of these, 6.07 lakh patients have been cured. 10 thousand 502 patients have died, while 6 thousand 122 patients are under treatment.

2. Madhya Pradesh
853 new infections were identified here on Tuesday. 1122 patients recovered and 10 died. So far, 2.40 lakh cases of corona infection have been reported here. Of these, 2.26 lakh patients have been cured and 3582 have died. Now 9595 infected people are under treatment.

3. Gujarat
The Corona report of 804 people came positive on Tuesday. 999 patients recovered and seven died. So far 2.43 lakh cases of infection have been reported. Of these, 2.29 lakh patients have been cured. 4295 have lost their lives, while 9921 are undergoing treatment.

4. Rajasthan
626 corona infects were identified here on Tuesday. 1149 patients recovered. Six died. So far, 3.06 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 2.93 lakh patients have been cured. 2683 have died, while 10 thousand 213 patients are under treatment.

5. Maharashtra
On Tuesday, 3018 people were found infected. 5572 people recovered and 68 died. So far, 19.25 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 18.20 lakh patients have been cured. 49 thousand 373 died, while 54 thousand 537 patients are under treatment.
