The number of corona patients in the country has decreased but the government has also reduced testing. There has been a decrease of about 3 lakh in the daily testing. Less than 1 million people are being investigated in the country since last one week. Only 7 lakh 15 thousand 397 people were screened on Sunday. This is the lowest figure since September 27. On September 27, 7 lakh 93 thousand 94 patients were tested across the country.

So far, only 12.17% of the population has been screened.
So far, 12.17%, or 16.89 crore people have been screened out of a population of 138 crores. 1.21 lakh people are being screened in every 10 lakh population. In the same population in the US, 7.43 lakh people and 1.34 lakh people in Brazil are being investigated.

Risk of infection due to reduced testing
The ICMR and the Union Health Ministry have themselves said that the risk of infection is increased due to reduced testing. This is because if the infected people are not identified in time, they can spread the infection to others.

The country has a recovery rate of 96%

The pace of recovery of corona patients in the country is going very well. The average is 95.8% nationwide. That is, 96 patients out of every 100 have been cured. The situation is even better in 25 states. These include Top-5 Arunachal Pradesh (98.9%), Andhra Pradesh (98.8%), Dadra and Nagar Haveli (98.8%), Odisha (98.6%) and Tripura (98.3%). The recovery rate is less than 95.8% in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Punjab, Manipur, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala and Sikkim.

On Sunday, 20 thousand 333 new infections were identified in the country, 21 thousand 97 patients were cured and 281 died. With this, there was a decrease of 1056 in the active case. Now a total of 2.76 lakh patients are undergoing treatment. A total of 1.02 crore cases have been reported so far. Of these, 97.81 lakh patients have been cured, while 1.47 lakh have died.

Two-day dry run begins for vaccination

Vaccination preparations for coronavirus in the country have been started from today. Under this, a two-day dry run program is being run in Punjab, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. If there is any deficiency in the dry run, it will be rectified immediately. Arrangements for cold storage, transportation and crowd control for the vaccine in the dry run will also be reviewed. In other words, it is a mock drill of vaccination.

State of 5 states
1. Delhi
757 new infected were found here on Sunday. 939 patients recovered and 16 died. So far, 6.22 lakh people have been found infected here. Of these, 6.05 lakh patients have been cured, while 10 thousand 453 have died. A total of 6713 patients are undergoing treatment.

2. Madhya Pradesh
946 new infections were found here on Sunday. 1160 patients recovered and 18 died. A total of 2.38 lakh infected people have been found so far in the state. Of these, 2.24 lakh patients have been cured, while 3563 have died. Currently, 10 thousand 97 patients are being treated.

3. Gujarat
850 infections were identified here on Sunday. 920 patients recovered and seven died. So far 2.41 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 2.27 lakh people have been cured. 4282 have died, while 10 thousand 335 patients are under treatment.

4. Rajasthan
On Saturday, 843 people were found corona infected in the state. 1168 people recovered and six died. So far, 3.05 lakh cases have been reported. Of these, 2.91 lakh patients have been cured. 2670 infected have lost their lives, while 11 thousand 157 are under treatment.

5. Maharashtra
On Saturday, 3314 new infections were detected in the state. 2124 patients recovered and 66 died. So far, 19.16 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 18.09 lakh patients have been cured, while 59 thousand 214 patients are undergoing treatment.
