The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 99 million. In the last 24 hours, a total of 17 thousand 546 cases were reported and 27 thousand 478 people recovered from Corona. With this, the total number of infected in the country reached 99 lakh 2 thousand 943. Among them, 3 lakh 40 thousand 943 patients are being treated and 1 lakh 43 thousand 667 people have lost their lives. So far 94 lakh 15 thousand 86 people have beaten Corona in the country. At the same time, there is good news for Delhi regarding Corona. A steep drop in positivity rate was recorded in Delhi. A total of 69 thousand 944 tests were conducted here in the last 24 hours, out of which only 1376 new cases were reported. That is, the positivity rate was 2.15%. This is the lowest ever in Delhi.

Regular classes of 10th-12th in Madhya Pradesh from December 18
Regular classes of 10th and 12th will be held in Madhya Pradesh from December 18. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the board examinations. The decision to start the 9th and 11th classes has been left to the district administration. The decision to open schools from 1st to 8th will be taken after a review of the corona infection. This decision will be applicable to all schools affiliated to MP Board and CBSE. MP School Education Department informed about it on Monday. Orders in this regard will be issued in a day or two.

Night curfew increased in 4 districts in Himachal
In view of the increasing cases of corona, the night curfew in 4 districts of Himachal Pradesh has been extended till 5 January. The cabinet meeting on Monday decided to increase the night curfew in Shimla, Mandi, Kangra and Kullu districts. The condition of maximum 50 people will be included in marriage and other programs.

66 students at IIT Madras Corona
The corona report of 66 students and 5 staff members at IIT Madras is positive. The institute was opened on December 7 for final year students by order of the state government. Now all the departments have been closed. According to the report, the first two cases were found in the campus only on 1 December. After this, some more reports came positive on 10 December and 14 December. There have been 55 cases here in three days. The campus was then declared a Kovid hotspot.

It is being told that at present there are 774 students in the campus. Everyone’s tests are being done and they are forbidden to go out. The maximum number of cases are in two hostels Krishna and Jamuna. Apart from these, some faculty members and mess employees have also been found infected.

  • In Delhi, the number of people who lost their lives from Corona has crossed 10,000. So far, 10 thousand 74 people have lost their lives. Of these, 2 thousand 698, i.e. 27% deaths have occurred in November itself. 1161 people lost their lives in October and 929 in September. 754 people have died in 13 days of December.
  • Advance systems of Corona have been seen in Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij. He has been admitted to the PG Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak. Prof. Gajendra Singh of PGIMS said that Vij has been given a course of Remedescience. A team of doctors will decide whether to give them plasma therapy or not.
  • Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawala has said that vaccination can start in the country from January. By the end of this month, his company’s vaccine will be approved by Emergency Use. However, it will take time to get licenses for large-scale use. Poonawala said that if 20% of the country’s population gets vaccinated, then by October next year, things will start to return to normal.

1. Delhi
On Monday, 1376 people were found corona positive. 2854 people recovered and 60 died. So far, 6 lakh 8 thousand 830 people have been affected by the infection here. Of these, 15 thousand 247 patients are being treated, while 5 lakh 83 thousand 509 people have been cured.

2. Madhya Pradesh
There were 1058 cases on Monday. This is the lowest number of new patients in the past 27 days. Earlier on November 17, 922 cases were reported. In the state, 1084 patients were cured, while 8 patients died. So far, 2 lakh 24 thousand 636 people have been infected here. Of these, 2 lakh 8 thousand 421 were cured, while 3 thousand 412 died. At present, treatment of 12 thousand 803 is underway.

3. Gujarat
In the last 24 hours, 1120 people were found infected in the state. 1389 people recovered and 11 died. So far, 2 lakh 28 thousand 803 people have been infected. Of these, 12 thousand 918 patients are being treated. 2 lakh 11 thousand 703 people have been cured so far, while 4182 have died.

4. Rajasthan
On Sunday, 1250 people were found corona infected in the state. 631 people recovered and 13 died. So far, 2 lakh 92 thousand 539 people have been infected. Of these, 16 thousand 200 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 73 thousand 784 people have been cured, 2555 have died.

5. Maharashtra
In the state, 2949 people were found infected within the last 24 hours. 4610 people recovered and 60 died. So far, 18 lakh 83 thousand 365 people have been infected. Of these, 72 thousand 383 patients are being treated. 17 lakh 61 thousand 615 patients have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 48 thousand 269.
