The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 9 million. So far 90 lakh 1 thousand 263 people have been found to be corona positive. It is a matter of relief that 84 lakh 23 thousand 162 people have been cured among them. There are 4 lakh 41 thousand 727 patients who are undergoing treatment. The number of people who lost their lives due to infection has now gone up to one lakh 32 thousand 133.

Meanwhile, the Gujarat government has issued an order to impose complete curfew in Ahmedabad from November 20 to November 23. The curfew will be in force from 9 am on November 20 to 6 am on 23 November. During this time only milk and drug shops will be open. The state government has also revoked its earlier order of opening school-colleges from 23 November. The government said that given the current situation of Kovid, schools and colleges will remain closed for the time being.

150 ICU and 800 Kovid-19 beds ready in 3 days in Delhi

The government has stepped up preparations to deal with the growing cases of Kovid-19 in the capital Delhi. Within 3 days of meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, 150 ICU and 800 Kovid-19 beds in train coaches were ready in Delhi. These 800 beds are at Shakur Basti railway station. CAPF doctors are deployed here. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, there are 3652 ICU beds. Work is going on to increase it further.

These facilities were also increased

  • According to the ministry, work has also started on increasing the testing. There are 28,708 RT-PCR tests on 18 November. By the last week of November, 60 thousand tests will be held every day.
  • The central government has also formed 10 multi-disciplinary teams. These teams will conduct inspections in more than 100 private hospitals in the capital and will submit reports to the central government on the needs of ICU and Kovid-19 beds.
  • The 500 isolation beds at Covid Care Center in Chhatarpur have been equipped with oxygen facilities.

60% beds of 90 hospitals reserved for Kovid patients.
The Delhi government has reserved 60% of the beds of 90 private hospitals for Kovid-19 patients. Apart from this, 80% ICU / HDU beds of 42 other hospitals have also been issued an order to reserve for Kovid patients. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that all hospitals will have to follow it.

  • Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has extended the parole of 4,585 prisoners lodged in different jails of the state. Of these, 1,459 inmates are under trial, while 3,126 are convicts. All these will now be able to remain out of jail till 31 December. These prisoners were released on parole by the state government when Corona cases increased.
  • Union Minister Sadanand Gowda has been found to be Corona positive. He gave information about this by tweeting. Wrote, “Corona was tested on mild symptoms. Its report has come positive. Recently, all those who come in contact with me are requested to follow the protocol of Kovid-19.
  • On Friday, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij will have a co-vaccine trial. This co-vaccine final trial is going on. Home Minister Vij informed about this by tweeting. Vij said, ‘I gave my name for the trial. The first dose will be given tomorrow at 11 am at the Civil Hospital. It will be supervised by PGI Rohtak doctors ”. Vij is the first minister in the country who is getting himself vaccinated.
  • Former defense minister and senior Congress leader AK Antony and his wife Elizabeth Corona have been found positive. Both are undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi. His son Anil K. Antony gave information about this by tweeting on Thursday. Anil said that the condition of both is stable.
  • NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse has also been found to be Corona positive. He is undergoing treatment at City Hospital.
  • Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inspected Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital on Thursday. He informed that the number of ICU beds in DDU is being increased from 50 to 100. We are working to increase the number of ICU beds on a war footing.

If you go out of Delhi without a mask, now you will face 2000 fine

The Kejriwal government in Delhi has increased its strictness. Those who do not wear masks in public places will now be fined Rs 2000. Earlier it was 500 rupees. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also appealed to people to celebrate Chhath festival at home on Thursday.

Kejriwal said that we want Chhath Puja to be celebrated with pomp, but this time there is an epidemic, so everyone’s safety is important. It is a very sacred festival. The corona is also epidemic. Politics should not be done on this. There is no restriction on worship. A large number of ponds or river banks have been banned.

Fast growing cases in 10 states including Delhi

The pace of corona patients in the country has started accelerating once again. Delhi is in the worst condition. Here, 1.10 lakh new cases have increased in just 18 days. During this time, 1381 people have died here. These figures are highest in comparison to other states or union territories of the country.

Apart from this, there are 9 other states, where corona cases have seen a boom. These include Kerala, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. If strict steps are not taken here in time, then in the coming days, the situation here can be very bad.

State of 5 states

1. Delhi

On Thursday, 7546 people were found infected in the state. 6685 people recovered and 98 died. The death toll has crossed 8 thousand. So far, 8 thousand 41 people have lost their lives. The number of infected has also increased to 5 lakh 10 thousand 630. Among them 43 thousand 221 patients are being treated, while 4 lakh 59 thousand 368 people have been cured.

2. Madhya Pradesh

The state received 1363 new cases on Thursday. 887 people recovered and 14 died. With this, the number of infected people has now reached 1 lakh 88 thousand 18. Of these, 1 lakh 75 thousand 89 people have been cured. 9800 patients are undergoing treatment. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now increased to 3129.

3. Rajasthan

On Thursday, 2549 people were found infected in the state. 1844 people recovered and 15 died. So far, 2 lakh 34 thousand 907 people have been infected. Of these, 20 thousand 168 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 12 thousand 623 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 2116.

4. Maharashtra

On Thursday, 5535 people were found corona infected in the state. 5860 people were recovered and 154 died. So far, 17 lakh 63 thousand 55 people have been infected. Of these, 79 thousand 738 patients are being treated, while 16 lakh 35 thousand 971 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 46 thousand 356.

5. Uttar Pradesh

In the last 24 hours, 2586 new cases of Corona were reported. At present, there are 22 thousand 757 patients who are undergoing treatment. 4 lakh 88 thousand 911 people have been cured. State’s Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed that the recovery rate in the state is 94.18%. A total of 7480 people have died from the infected.
