The number of people recovering from Corona in the country crossed 76 lakh on Monday. So far, 76 lakh 1 thousand 429 people have been recovered. The recovery rate has also gone up by 1% to 92%. Within the last 24 hours, 58 thousand 524 people were discharged.

If we look at the number of infected, 82 lakh 66 thousand 914 people have been found to be corona positive so far. There are 5 lakh 40 thousand 883 active cases in them. Meaning these patients are currently being treated. So far, one lakh 23 thousand 139 people have died due to infection.

19 passengers went to Wuhan Corona positive

In the midst of the Corona crisis, 19 passengers have been found Corona positive in a flight from India to Wuhan city of China. On 30 October, the flight went under the Vanda Bharat Mission. Antibodies were also detected in 39 of the total 277 passengers on board the flight. As such, all 58 passengers have been sent to the Cavid-19 hospitals and Quarantine. All other passengers will be kept in separate hotels for 14 days.

Air India has issued a statement in this matter. Accordingly, all passengers boarding the flight had a negative report from Corona Testing. This report was from a certified lab. The protocol of the Kovid-19 was also taken care of in flight.

Corona updates

  • The Rajasthan Assembly has passed a bill mandating the wearing of masks in the state. The government has decided to implement it strictly in the state.
  • In the second phase of sero survey in Haryana, antibodies have been detected in 14.8% people. Meaning either these people are infected or are cured after being infected. State Health Minister Anil Vij gave this information.

  • Schools in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun opened after a long time from Monday. During this, the students looked quite happy. Students said, fearing that the Corona crisis would deteriorate throughout the year. Now it feels good if the schools are open.

Testing figures cross 11 million

New cases of corona in the country are declining. The testing figure has crossed 11 million. This time only 4.70 lakh patients have been found on 10 million tests, which is the lowest. Between 10 million to 10 million patients were found, which was the highest. On September 16, the testing figure reached six crores. Between 8.6 million patients were found to have between 5-6 million tests, since then it has been steadily declining.

6.86% of active cases remain

Corona’s active cases in the country (the number of patients who are being treated) have come down to 5 lakh 40 thousand 695. This is 6.86% of the total infected. It has been registering a continuous decline for two months. On September 1, there were 21.16% active cases in the country.

Looking at the state-wise figures, Maharashtra currently has the highest number of 22.47% active cases. However, it is also declining continuously. Kerala is at second place, with 15.57% and then Karnataka with 9.08% of patients being treated. The least active cases are in Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Andaman and Nicobar and Sikkim. Similarly, there has been a decrease in the death toll. In the beginning of September, there were about 1 thousand deaths daily, this figure has been reduced from 500 now.

State of five states
1. Madhya Pradesh

On Monday, 635 new corona patients were found in the state. 868 people recovered and 7 patients died. So far 1 lakh 72 thousand 717 people have been infected. Of these, 8298 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 61 thousand 454 people have also been cured. So far 2965 patients have died due to infection.

2. Rajasthan
Corona patients have crossed the 2 lakh mark in the state. In the last 24 hours, 1748 people were infected. With this, the number has increased to 2 lakh 495. Of these, 15 thousand 889 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 82 thousand 680 people have been cured. So far 1926 patients have died due to infection.

3. Bihar

On Monday, 577 new patients were found in the state, 974 people recovered and 4 patients died. So far, 2 lakh 18 thousand 118 people have been infected in the state. Of these, 7036 patients are being treated, while 2 lakh 9 thousand 980 people have been cured. So far, 1101 patients have died due to infection.

4. Maharashtra
On Monday, 4009 new infections were detected in Maharashtra. 10225 people were recovered and 104 patients died. So far, 16 lakh 87 thousand 784 people have been infected. Among these, 1 lakh 18 thousand 777 patients are being treated, while 15 lakh 24 thousand 304 people have been cured. So far 44 thousand 128 patients have died.

5. Uttar Pradesh

On Monday, 1788 corona positive patients were found in the state. 2040 people were discharged. With this, the number of active cases has increased to 23 thousand 35 in the state. The positivity rate is 1.5%. 25 infected patients died on Monday. So far, a total of 7073 patients have died in the state.

Principal Secretary Medical Health Alok Kumar said that for the seventh consecutive week, there has been a decrease in the number of active patients. Of the total active patients, 10 thousand 177 are in home isolation. 1 lakh 34 thousand 64 tests were done on Monday.
