Chetan Anand, son of Lok Sabha MP from Shivhar, Anand Mohan, won from Shivhar seat but his wife Lovely Anand lost to Saharsa. Manju Verma, an accused in the Girl Child Home case and former minister, lost from Cheria Bariarpur seat. On the other hand, Manorama Devi, wife of Bindeshwari alias Bindi Yadav, a Bahubali leader from Bihar, also lost in Atri seat. Mukesh Sahni, the founder of Vikas Insan Party i.e. VIP, lost by 1759 votes.
