Ayodhya’s Ram temple will be ready in 3 and a half years. It will cost about 11 hundred crore rupees to build the entire complex including the main temple. Swami Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetraya Trust, estimates that it may cost around 400 crores to build the main temple. He said that at present, donations of about Rs 100 crore have been deposited by the temple trust.

Makar Sakranti campaign for money collection
He informed that now an estimated fund for the temple is to be arranged. For this, the money collection campaign from Makar Sankranti will run all over the country. About 60 crore people will be contacted in this. The campaign will run until 27 February.

He informed that the technical experts of the temple will discuss the report of the team of technical experts on December 29 in a meeting to be held in Delhi. At the same time, the expenditure on the construction of the temple will also be discussed.

The foundation of the temple will be laid by ancient method
Construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya continues. Two weeks ago, during load testing, the pillars were sunk by 2 to 5 inches. No sand, but yellow soil, has been found 200 feet below the surface of the foundation of the temple. The piling test was being done to strengthen the foundation and when the load was put on the pillar, it collapsed.

After this, the expert committee said in its report that the construction of the foundation of the temple will now be done using the ancient method instead of 1200 underground pillars. The committee of top-8 technocrats of the country has submitted its report to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to decide its design. The committee is headed by VS Raju, former Director of Delhi IIT.
