Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will field candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2022. Kejriwal accused the Yogi government of overtaking Uttar Pradesh in the race for development.

Kejriwal also said, ‘Why are the people of UP coming to Delhi? This is because there are no facilities. If facilities can be prepared in Delhi, then why can’t this happen in UP. UP has seen dirty politics so far. In such a situation, he should get a new chance now.

‘Like Delhi, the people of UP also have the right to facilities’
Kejriwal questioned whether India’s largest state cannot become the largest developing state? When the Mohalla Clinic can open in Sangam Vihar, then why can’t it open in Gomtinagar, Lucknow. Why can’t government schools get free water and electricity in UP, on the lines of private schools? There are a lot of people living in UP in Delhi, we appeal that they should get facilities like Delhi in UP too.

‘The people of Uttar Pradesh are plagued by old politics and now the public will stand with the Aam Aadmi Party. The Aam Aadmi Party has formed the government for the third time in Delhi and has shown it by working in Delhi. People of Delhi are getting free electricity, water. They are getting treatment from Mohalla clinics, so why can’t this happen in Gorakhpur, Lucknow and other cities of UP.

11 cases filed against your UP charge
Aam Aadmi Party UP in-charge Sanjay Singh has been active in Uttar Pradesh since August. They are constantly attacking the Yogi government by raising cases of negligence in law and order, women’s safety, corona investigation and treatment. So far, more than 11 cases have been filed against Sanjay Singh.
