Amit Shah said after the puja at the Dakshineswar temple in Kolkata – I am taking new energy and consciousness from here.

Elections are due in Bengal next year. In such a situation, the BJP has put all its strength there. Shah said in Kolkata on the second day of the Bengal tour on Friday that the great tradition of West Bengal has been hurt by the politics of appeasement here.

Bengal has been the center of the spiritual and religious consciousness of the entire country. Bengal should regain this pride. People here should unite and bring back their old days under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Had lunch with matua family

Shah had lunch at the tribal Matua community in Gaurang Nagar. The people of the Matua community came here from Pakistan. They want citizenship of India under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). In 2019, he voted for the BJP. Shantanu Thakur, MP of this community, also complained of delays in CAA. It is now believed that Amit Shah has taken away the complaint by eating food with the people of his community and also brought the issue of CAA in Bengal elections.
