Actor and stunt performer and martial artist Vidyut Jamwal is also part of the Fit India-Mission 200 km.

To spread awareness about the Fit India movement, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) launched the Fit India Mission 200 km campaign. Cabinet Minister Kiran Rijiju on Saturday flagged off the campaign. Apart from ITBP, about 100 officers of Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, NDRF, RAF, Assam Rifles, NSG along with Rajasthan Police, Madhya Pradesh Police etc. will participate in the 200-km fitness march. Along with DG ITBP SS Deswal, actor Vidyut Jamwal is also a part of this march.

It started with Nathuwala village, located 7 km from Tanot Mata temple in the district. This 3-day fitness will end on March 2, 2020 at River Division 1458 point while traveling 200 km along the Indira Gandhi Canal via Sakirewala, Bhuttewala, Katoch.

The path of more than 50 kilometers will pass through sand dunes in the desert

More than 50 kilometers on this route will pass through sand dunes in the desert. Most of this route is bordered by the International Border, around which many historical battles have taken place. There is also a famous fort of Kishangarh on the way. The second part of this route runs along the Indira Gandhi Canal.

This fitness march of ITBP is being organized with the aim of spreading awareness

This fitness march of ITBP is being organized with the objective of spreading more awareness towards the Fit India Movement of the Government of India. ITBP has been playing a leading role in various campaigns of Fit India since inception and the force was named the nodal agency in the Fit India Freedom Run this year.

SS Deswal, DG ITBP Over the past 2 years, it has led dozens of marches before, including deserts from the Himalayas and marches along the seas from the northeast. This includes routes such as Lipulekh, 103 km in Sangla Valley, Auli Tapovan, Gangotri Tapovan, Bhuj, Konark Puri, Rajasthan and Punjab border, Mission 100 in Jodhpur Bikaner, and Valley of Flowers etc.

All these marches were organized as an awareness of the ‘Fit India Mission’, which has generated a positive feeling towards the physical fitness of the youth and the general public. Plogging and sanitation campaigns have also been organized during these campaigns.
